Old Maid
Two to four players, four match formats, and one goal: avoid the odd king.
Old Maid seats two, three, or four players. Pairs are removed automatically, players draw blind from the previous active hand, and the final holder of the odd king loses. Tables can use a single or double deck.

Classic
Play continues until only the odd king remains. Its holder loses, and the other players score by finish order.
Penalty
At the end of one game, the odd-king holder is marked as the penalty loser and finish order becomes the match score.
Elimination
The odd-king holder is eliminated after each internal game. New deals continue until one player remains.
First out
The game ends when the first player empties their hand; simultaneous opening finishers share the lead.
