Backgammon
Three explicit rulesets: Modern, Turkish-style, and Kız Backgammon.
Backgammon always seats two players. Modern play uses international cube and backgammon rules, Turkish-style play uses its traditional opening and two-point gammons, and Kız Backgammon opens and bears off checkers on each player’s six home points.
Table options
Modern Backgammon
The opening dice form the first move; gammons score 2 and backgammons 3. The cube, Crawford, and dead-cube rules are fixed.
Turkish-style Backgammon
The first opening winner rerolls and the previous winner starts later games. Every gammon scores 2 and there is no cube.
Kız Backgammon
Checkers open by point number, then bear off exactly or from the nearest occupied lower point. Doubles give two plays; a gammon scores 2 and there is no cube.
Match options
Choose one, three, five, or seven games or a points target. Assistance is configurable in every variant; scoring and cube rules belong to the ruleset.
