Batak
Bidding, Spades Trump, Partnership, and Buried Batak.
Hamleon's Batak tables use a standard 52-card deck. Bidding and no-auction Spades Trump seat two, three, or four players; open-partner-hand Partnership requires four and the four-card Buried variant requires three.
Table options
Bidding
Two to four players. In the raising auction, active bidders may keep raising; the highest bidder chooses trump and must make the contract.
Spades Trump
Two to four players. There is no bidding phase, spades is always trump, and every player scores the tricks they take.
Partnership
Exactly four players, with a minimum bid of 8. After trump is chosen, the declarer's partner exposes their hand and the declarer plays it; team tricks and scores are pooled.
Buried
Exactly three players. Each receives 16 cards and four stay face down. The auction starts at 8; its winner adds the bury to their hand, then buries four cards face down.
